Architect Burcu Tüm
She graduated from architecture faculty at Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul in 2010. She completed a part of her education at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Lyon. As of 2007, she has worked and collaborated with several offices in numerous projects, of different types and scales. In 2013, she co-founded Mahal Architects in Istanbul. She was one of the twenty-two participants in the program ‘Femmes d’Avenir en Méditerranée’, organized by Sciences Po Paris in 2016. She completed her master’s degree at Istanbul University, Department of Urban Studies in 2019. She has participated in various conferences and symposiums with her research on urban and architectural studies. Since 2019, she has been working on Alan’Architects.
Alan’Architects is a collaboration of practices that query about the urban spaces and produce creative, innovative and awareness-based architectural projects. It provides cooperation between professionals from various disciplines and from diverse cultures. It aims to find experience-oriented answers to spatial questions by bringing together of intersecting disciplines. It invites you to be part of this game, also.
